What type of Properties will be pledged?

Residential properties in London and London Suburbs, that are used by TRADE GATEWAYS. The London Property Market is one of the world's prime property markets and is resilient to fluctuations in the property market

Who owns the Properties pledged?

The property being used as guarantee will be held in the name of a Special Purpose company that is ring fenced for investor protection.

A firm of solicitors registered with the UK Law Society will act as Trustees and will register a caution at the Land Registry so the property cannot be charged or sold. The firm of Solicitors will receive funds, hold them in a Client Escrow Account insured with the UK Law Society, and discharge all obligations to Token Holders.

The Trustees will also keep the property insured at all times.

Is the the Property pledged as Security Unencumbered?

Yes, the Properties pledged as Security are Unencumbered and free of charge or mortgage.

The relevant title searches will be made at the Land Authority on the property by the appointed lawyer to verify this and made available to Title Holders.

How Does the GTIN Token System Facilitate Transactions?

GTIN stands for a Global Trade Item Number. It is a Unique Identifier used to look up product information and match products across databases of various counter agents (retailers, manufacturers, etc).

The GTIN Token is the GTIN Number with the letter T appended to it to symbolize that is the token of the product bearing that GTIN Number. This then makes it quite straightforward to trade products across the TRADE GATEWAYS System as follows:

1. Buyer sees the offer at the transactional site, and agrees to buy

2. Buyer makes the order and the trade invoice is generated by the seller on the TRADE GATEWAYS Platform

3. The parties agree to accept to utilize a smart contract to conclude the transaction. The smart contract incorporates the latest version of eUCP rules

4. The parties also agree on the Logistics Company to be utilized who are part of the TRADE GATEWAYS Programme

The Transaction then proceeds as below:

The applicant (importer) confirms with the Logistics company, that an electronic bill of lading will be issued instead of a regular paper based bill of lading.

  • The seller uses the TRADE GATEWAYS system to issue GTIN asset tokens for the transaction. These Digitally represent the products being traded across the TRADE GATEWAYS system, and uniquely identifies the products being traded. The Buyer or the Buyers Bank acquires stablecoin Payment Tokens For the transaction.

  • These Stablecoin Payment Tokens can be acquired either by payment in cash, or by a Guarantee from the Buyers Bank.

  • The successful conclusion of the transaction will lead to an automated exchange of these tokens, utilizing a smart contract, with each party being automatically credited to the other party's account, upon successful conclusion of the process, when all the contract terms have been met and the required documentation under the contract has been provided and verified. The payment token can be redeemed for the Fiat Currency that backs it
